With the financial assistance of Infaaq philanthropists, this fund was originally created (in 2009) to provide food, clothing, shelter and other assistance to the IDPs from Swat, Dir and Buner districts of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa, and Khyber, Bajaur, Mohmand and Waziristan Agencies in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
